About the Gala
Formerly known as the St. Nicholas Ball and, before that, the Festival of Trees, the Evergreen Gala carries forward a beautiful tradition while embracing a name that reflects growth, longevity, and year-round impact.
As our mission continues to expand across housing, immigration legal services, refugee support, education, and family programs, we felt called to choose a name that speaks to the lasting nature of this work. “Evergreen” represents roots that run deep, hope that endures in every season, and a community that continues to grow together.
While the name has evolved, the heart of the evening remains the same. The Evergreen Gala will continue to be the vibrant, elegant, and joy-filled benefit our supporters know and love. The celebration, the generosity, and the spirit of coming together for our neighbors in need remain unchanged.
This is a new chapter in a cherished tradition—one that honors our history while planting seeds for the future.
