Affordable Housing
ABOUT
Welcome to CC Housing! We are part of Catholic Charities’ mission to expand affordable housing options for low-income families and individuals across New Mexico. Since 2016, we have focused on identifying new construction opportunities to meet our community’s growing housing needs.
In partnership with housing developers, government agencies, and private investors, we collaborate to develop tax credit-funded affordable housing communities. Our projects may be owned or co-owned with other entities and are managed by third-party property management partners.
Today, we have 7 developments totaling 451 units, with 2 additional communities under construction that will add 115 more units. We are proud to offer affordable housing options including Hibernian House (Albuquerque), Generations at West Mesa (Albuquerque), Sun-Ray Lobo Canyon (Grants), Encantada (Los Lunas), Felician Villa I and II (Rio Rancho), and Three Sisters (Las Cruces).
All CC Housing properties have an on-site Social Service Coordinator to provide enrichment services based on resident needs, including but not limited to job training, computer literacy, gardening, CPR training, nutrition classes, and more.
To apply for affordable housing, please contact each project's respective property management companies using the contact information listed below.

Who is eligible to apply for CC Housing’s affordable housing?
CC Housing serves low-income individuals, families, and seniors. Eligibility varies by property. Each property’s management team sets its own income and qualification guidelines. Contact the leasing office of the property you’re interested in for specific requirements and to ask about eligibility.
What types of properties does CC Housing offer?
CC Housing develops communities for seniors, individuals and families of all shapes and sizes. Properties include apartment-style communities such as Hibernian House, Generations at West Mesa, Sunray Lobo Canyon, and Encantada in Los Lunas. Unit size and amenities vary by property.
How do I apply for affordable housing?
Each property manages its own application and leasing process. Contact the leasing office directly to begin an application. If no units are available, staff can provide wait-list details.
What if no apartments are currently available?
If a property is fully leased, you may request to join the wait list through that property’s leasing office.
Are there income limits or rent requirements?
Yes. Eligibility and rental rates depend on household income and family size. Because requirements differ by property, applicants should contact the leasing office directly for detailed income thresholds, rent calculations, and qualifying criteria.
I’m experiencing an issue with my apartment or property. Who do I contact?
Please contact the property manager or leasing office directly. All CC Housing properties are managed by third-party property management companies. The onsite property management team is the best point of contact for repairs, concerns, or lease-related issues.
